The Power of the Pound
You know that however hard-up you feel there is always someone else out there far worse off than you. You know........ it’s there everyday on the TV and in the papers.
You know you could help. You know you should help. You want to help. But how? So many charities, so many schemes. Who to choose and how to know that you are giving so that the Government is helping with tax relief?
A pound................. Not a great deal is it? Maybe half a beer or half a sandwich...........
But when your pound gets together with thousands of others......... when the Government gives back the tax you have paid on it...........then it has incredible power. The power to help, to change things, to make a difference. The power to bring people together, the people in your office, your company. The power to make you feel you are doing something.
Just look at what your pound could do.......
£1 a week could provide someone with a talking book for a year (RNIB)
£1 could provide a nutritious and filling meal for street children at the Street Children’s Day Care Centre being run by their partner project in Thika, Kenya. (Action for Street Kids).
£1 a week means you can help disabled parents start a small business to provide for their families (People for People).

Utlilising “The Power of The Pound”, our groups allow you to support multiple charities with your generous gift. We work with charity consortia of varying sizes and causes so that you can share the good you are doing among so many deserving people.
